Now don’t get this twisted. Rick Fox is not throwing his hat in the ring by any means.
NBA HangTime Podcast Co-Host and NBA TV analyst Rick Fox has been adamant in saying that Phil Jackson should coach the Knicks.
But according to Newsday.com If he was offered, he’d happily take it.
He’s the best guy for it(Jackson). He’s the holy grail of coaches. If he needed my support in some way, it’d be hard to turn him down.
Or if he needed me to step in and do the job myself, I’d definitely welcome that.
Fox played for Jackson as a Laker for five years, so the triangle parameter should be okay.
Jackson has many people to choose from including Kurt Rambis, Jim Cleamons, Luke Walton (what?) and Bill Cartwright. It’s up to Jackson. But remember he’s still got that Melo problem to take care of…
