the Jazz drafted Mitchell 13th overall in 2017. Mitchell was named to the All-Rookie First Team in 2018 and won the Slam Dunk Contest at All-Star Weekend the same year. In the 2020 NBA Playoffs, the Jazz lost a competitive seven-game series against the Denver Nuggets. Mitchell scored 40-plus points in three games of the series and averaged 36.3 points, five rebounds and 4.9 assists while shooting 52.9% from the field, 51.6% from 3-point range and 94.8% from the free-throw line.
