At this point, it is no secret that we are Reggie Becton fans over here at Def Pen. For more than a year, it’s been a pleasure watching the development of the Maryland native as he develops and refines his sound. This week, Reggie Becton took the next step in his trendsetting career.
Fridays are for R&B. Helping out with the night, Becton has delivered a new project called Thank You For Listenin’. The 14-minute project features singles like “Listenin'” along with features from Grace Weber, Garren and Ryahn. From track one to the EP’s closing seconds, he delivers a vintage 90’s sound mixed with modern production that is perfect for spending winter nights inside near a fireplace. Simply put, it’s what fans have come to expect from him as he has continued to evolve over the year.
“To all the homies who vibed out to my music this year and really made this year a big success…Thank You for Listenin’,” he tweeted upon the project’s release.
