In front of his friends, family and even his National Championship youth AAU basketball team, Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul had a fantastic game for the Clip-show. Los Angeles Clippers handed the Charlotte Hornets their sixth straight loss 113-92.
CP3 had 22 points and a season-high 15 assists, Blake Griffin had 22 points and a season-high 16 rebounds, with a season-high 9 assists and he was 10 of 23 from the field, he also finished one assist shy of a triple-double.
Deandre Jordan put up 11 points with 12 rebounds and J.J. Redick returned to North Carolina, where he played for the Duke Blue Devils and scored 17 points and Jamal Crawford put up 21 off the bench. Crawford and Redick were 9-17 from 3 and the Clippers as a team were 15-32 from deep.
Cody Zeller led Charlotte with a career-high 17 points and Brian Roberts had 11 points, both players off the bench. “Big Al”, Al Jefferson, had 16 points and 9 rebounds, and Kemba Walker added 15 points with 6 assists and 5 rebounds for the Hornets.
Also in this game, Chris Paul passed “The Logo”, Jerry West, for 25th on the All-time assists list. Jamal Crawford also sunk a 2nd quarter three to put him the top 10 all-time three pointers made list.
Los Angeles Clippers are 8-5. Charlotte Hornets are 4-11.
