Quietly, California native, Reason, has been rising up the ranks throughout 2018. To begin the year, Reason got a major look when he linked up with Kendrick Lamar and Mozzy for a track called “Seasons” that ended up on the Black Panther soundtrack. Since then, Reason has stayed consistent with a flow of loose tracks here and there. As time went on, things fell into place for the up and coming rapper. This summer, Reason made his deal with Top Dawg Entertainment official. Soon thereafter, Reason joined Jay Rock on his Big Redemption tour. As things continue to fall into place for the California native, he has decided to take another major step in his career.
Top Dawg Entertainment newcomer, Reason, has solidified his membership in the TDE family with his first project, There You Have It. Among the new tracks from the newest Top Dawg Entertainment signee, “The Soul” stands out. Used as a vehicle to announce his signing with Top Dawg, “The Soul” offers a window into Reason’s rise to success and how much further he continues to rise.
