The Michael B. Jordan led series, Raising Dion, has been renewed for a second season at Netflix. Raising Dion‘s first season debuted on the streaming platform last October. Executive produced by Jordan, the series follows the story of Nicole, a single mother living in Atlanta while raising her son, Dion, who possesses supernatural powers.
Alisha Wainwright plays the role of Nicole. Meanwhile, Ja’Siah Young stars in the role of Dion. Jordan and Jason Ritter also have recurring roles in the Netflix show.
When asked about the series, Wainwright said, “You come across so many superhero stories that usually are from the perspective of the person inflicted with the powers.”
