Michael B. Jordan has released the first images of his long-awaited Netflix series, Raising Dion. The highly anticipated series will follow the story of Nicole, a single mother living in Atlanta while raising her son, Dion. However, there’s one thing out of the ordinary about this family. Dion possesses supernatural powers.
Alisha Wainwright will play the role of Nicole and Ja’Siah Young will play the role of Dion. Alongside the two leading actors, Jason Ritter and Michael B. Jordan will have recurring roles. Behind the scenes, Jordan will act as the show’s executive producers.

Wainwright previously spoke about the series. She said, “You come across so many superhero stories that usually are from the perspective of the person inflicted with the powers.” She added, “It was so refreshing to hear the story from the person whose life is so dramatically affected by that: the caregiver of that young person.”
Young also spoke about his decision to take this leading role. He said, “I should be a role model. And I really like superheroes!”
Michael B. Jordan’s Raising Dion will hit Netflix on October 4th. In the meantime, check out the first images of the show.
