
Migos had a great year in 2018 and they’re on track to have an even better year in 2019. Despite not earning a Grammy nod, the Atlanta group made waves with their sophomore album, Culture II. From there, the group went on their own to drop solo albums. Quavo struck first in the run with his debut album, Quavo Huncho. The October release featured a bevy of artists including Drake, Travis Scott, Cardi B, Offset, 21 Savage, Takeoff and Madonna. After a three month run, the Atlanta rapper has even more to celebrate in regards to his debut album.
Quavo’s solo debut, Quavo Huncho, has gone gold. The project initially moved 99,000 units during its first full week. Since then, its been racking up plays thanks to recent videos for “Bubble Gum” and “How About That?” The music trendsetter responded to the news by thanking his fans on Instagram and then moving to Twitter to write, “God is Good.”
As Quavo celebrates his first solo gold plaque, fans eagerly await the release of Offset’s debut album. The Migos member has been teasing the project for some time, but there is currently no release date for the album.
