This just in! Pusha T is very good at rapping about cocaine. In fact, he’s even better at it when Kanye West and 88 Keys are producing the track. Sound good? Well, you’re in luck. Just last night, the Virginia native shared a track entitled “Diet Coke” that was produced by both of the aforementioned producers with a Fat Joe sound clip thrown in for a little added spice. As expected, the full track and video lived up to everything that Elliott Wilson, Andrew Barber and others teased that it would be.
“Imaginary players ain’t been coached right/Master recipes under stove lights/The number on this jersey is the quote price/You ordered Diet Coke, that’s a joke, right?” he raps.
“Everybody get it off the boat, right?/But only I can really have a snow fight/Detroit nigga challenge, what’s your dope like?/If your Benz bigger, step it up to Ghost life/Missy was our only misdemeanor.”
“Diet Coke” sets the stage for Pusha T’s first LP since 2018’s Daytona. Complete with a controversial album cover and tracks like “The Games We Play,” the album set the stage for an interesting string of G.O.O.D Music LPs from Teyana Taylor, Ye (Kanye West) and Kid Cudi. Oh, yeah. It also sparked that feud or something with a guy named Drake. This time around, things will hopefully be a bit more peaceful, but who knows? What is known is that Pusha T’s “Diet Coke” video is available below and you should check it out.
