Well, we’re here now. There’s no spoiler alert that can stop this. James “Ghost” St. Patrick is dead. At least, that’s what Courtney Kemp has lead us to believe. Towards the end of episode ten, Dre, Tasha and the rest of the people who have motive to kill him are shown walking into Truth with guns drawn. However, he only gets hit with one bullet to the chest area and is left to fall to the floor. In the aftermath of this inevitable moment, we’re left to figure out who shot Ghost. Here are the most likely suspects to have committed the crime.
1. Rashad Tate

Through nearly six full seasons of television, no one has been able to get a clean shot of Ghost. If someone was to shoot him now, it’d have to be someone with experience handling a gun. More importantly, it’d have to be someone with a motive. Tasha may be mad at Ghost, but she was getting her home back after all that had happened. Meanwhile, Dre has little motivation to kill Ghost because if Ghost is dead his plea deal means little. Other suspects like Paz and Tariq aren’t quick enough to kill him with a firearm. From there, we find Rashad Tate. Ghost blew up his affair, ruined his campaign and joined his competitor’s campaign. Not to mention, he set up Tate in a position to have to kill someone. He also has a background that involves being a sharpshooter. Tate has all of the motivation, experience and desire to get the job done.
2. Tommy Eagan
Tommy: You killed Keisha
Ghost: Nope
Tommy: You got my boys locked up
Ghost: Wasn’t me

Tommy and Ghost may be brothers, but the game is the game. Ghost left Tommy with little opportunity to restart his business and his girlfriend is dead. He’s his most unstable when he has no one to lean on. With Ghost gone and Tasha responsible for LaKeisha’s death, all he’s got left is Mom. That would be enough to make many people kill a former friend. Not to mention, Tommy is good with a gun.
3. Cooper Saxe
Saxe probably bout to blame St Patrick for shooting Ghost ????? #whoshotghost #PowerTV pic.twitter.com/v0faOXt1Wl

As time goes on, it has become more likely that Saxe would kill himself before he’d kill someone else. With that being said, Saxe would have loved nothing more than to be able to kill Ghost before turning the gun on himself. Making matters worse, Saxe would be a primary suspect in Ghost’s murder even if he didn’t pull the trigger. He won’t have an alibi and he’ll have all the motive. He might as well get the pleasure of being the person that actually did it, rather than simply being blamed for it.
4. Tariq St. Patrick
Tariq knows how to twist the knife. #PowerTV pic.twitter.com/dEVuXzQCEP

While he has a solid motive, I find it hard to believe that Tariq St. Patrick is competent enough to actually kill his father by surprise. He had to be fed so much information to be able to kill Raymond Jones. Ghost is clear step above Ray Ray, but it would be poetic if he were the one to pull the trigger.
5. Quinton “Q” Wallace
#whoshotghost It was that dude who fell in love with Tasha in an hour. #PowerTV #Power

No, Q was not shown walking into Truth, but he would have a certain motive to do so. In the past, he has asked Tasha to allow him to deal with her ex-husband. However, Tasha has always declined that offer. Q has also not revealed all that much about himself. He could be the plug, the connect or the middle man. Furthermore, we have never seen his daughter or learned anything about his life. Simply put, he has the motive and he could also have had the means to do so.
