Starz has unveiled the teaser and artwork for the first Power spin-off, Power Book II: Ghost. In the first footage of the new series, fans get their first look at Mary J. Blige and Method Man’s characters. Also, Michael Rainey Jr. returns as Tariq St. Patrick and Naturi Naughton returns as Tasha St. Patrick.
In the 45 second teaser, Tasha finds herself in police custody after the murder of James St. Patrick. Meanwhile, Tariq balances his college work while finding ways to get his Mom out of jail.
“When one chapter ends, another begins,” Starz writes.
The first Power spin-off was originally set to debut this summer, but was pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, Power Book II: Ghost will debut in September on Starz.
