
Call it bias. Call it preferential treatment. Call it where you’d like. In any scenario, this journalist right here is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall up in Wallingford, Connecticut. Therefore, I was ecstatic to see the hit show Power portray Angela Valdez, played by Lela Loren, as a Choate graduate. Adding to the Choate influence, Tariq St. Patrick, Effie Morles and Brayden Weston also attend the school. As a result, it brings me great joy to report that that the Choate trio will be reunited on a more regular basis in season two.
Courtney A. Kemp and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson are hard at work preparing for the upcoming release of Power Book III: Kanan. While the hype is building for Mekai Curtis-led project, fans are still thinking about the incredible finale of Power Book II: Ghost. Without giving away any spoilers, fans witnessed the end of an era and the start of a new one in New York. Fortunately, the second season of Ghost is on the horizon.
In the days and weeks since Starz aired the Ghost season one finale, a few things have changed. Most notably, Redman has reportedly joined the cast alongside his longtime friend, collaborator and business partner, Method Man. He is set to play the role of Davis McLean’s brother, Theo Rollins. More recently, Starz has announced that the talented Berto Colon, beautiful Alix Lapri and outstanding Paton Ashbrook have been upgraded to series regulars. In addition, Lahmard Tate will play the recurring role of Rashad Tate’s brother, Kamaal Tate.
Ghost was renewed for a second season in September. However, Starz has not shared a timeline for the show’s new run. For now, fans will have to wait for more news regarding the show’s return.
