Food is the one thing that can divide a family or form a friendship with no verbal communication. It’s the one thing that binds us all together. For over a century, Kellogg’s has specialized in bringing people together one snack at a time. From their classic Apple Jacks to their iconic corn flakes, Kellogg’s has cemented itself into the hearts of many worldwide. With that being said, the brand has had a few minor hiccups here and there. There was the Mr. T’s Muscle Crunch and the Puffa Puffa Rice of the 1970’s. In addition, there were a few items of the past that may need a come back like the Bart Simpson Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch cereal.
For those of you who have been waiting for the Pop Tart cereal to make a come back, you must wait no longer. Initially released in 1994, the cereal had a short run before being pulled off the shelves a year later. However, the movement to make the cereal return has manifested itself into a viral sensation that has resulted in Facebook pages and Go Fund Me campaigns. Two and a half decades later, the wait is over. In 2019, Kellogg’s has announced that Pop Tart cereal will return with two flavors, frosted strawberry and frosted brown sugar cinnamon.
