Chicago is making a push for Hip-Hop’s crown. Leading the way, Lil’ Durk had an incredible year by dropping not one, but two projects. Not to mention, he collaborated with arguably the biggest artist in the world, Drake. Meanwhile, the late King Von made noise with his debut album, Welcome To O’Block. While King Von and Lil’ Durk rose up the charts, Polo G was having an incredibly successful year of his own. Polo G’s sophomore album, The GOAT, exceeded expectations and earned a platinum plaque. He found success with records like “Martin & Gina” and “Go Stupid” featuring NLE Choppa and Stunna 4 Vegas. Motivated by the success of the last ten months, Polo G is working to take his career to the next level in 2021.
Polo G is starting the new year off by delivering a new record and video called “GNF.” Taking a step away from the radio-friendly sound of “Martin & Gina,” the Chicago native returns to the drill sound that has dominated Chicago for nearly a decade. For the video, he also returns to a familiar set up with the Lyrical Lemonade crew. Check out the new record and video below.
