Pero Antic was vastly overrated during his time in the NBA. He came in with some toughness to play in the post along with the ability to shoot the three ball making him an ideal stretch big man for the Atlanta Hawks.
Now after a horrible postseason performance and some possible legal troubles coming his way, it appears that Antic is getting ready to get out of the NBA to take his talents overseas.

Pero Antic is a restricted free agent, however he already decided to return to Europe. The former Euroleague champion with Olympiacos has a deal in place with Fenerbahce/ Ulker which is expected to be formalized in the next days.
The official announcement is the only thing missing. Antic after two seasons in the NBA returns to Europe and Fenerbahce needs many new faces in its front line, specially after losing its ancor, Nemanja Bjelica. However Antic is expected to be used mainly in the center position, replacing Luca Zoric.
Antic didn’t set the NBA on fire and his declining numbers aren’t a great look for his restricted free agency this summer. At age 32 it might be best for him to return to Europe so he can be closer to home, end his career on a high note and play where he can make great strides for his team.
