Paloma Ford releases the music visual for her 2019 single “Rain.”
The singer-songwriter officially ended her musical hiatus in December 2019 with the release of “Rain.” Paloma Ford uses her whimsical vocal skills to create a dream-like sultry sound. On “Rain”, Paloma Ford flips TLC’s “Waterfalls” sentiments to request her lover’s complete focus.
The music video for “Rain” Directed by Brock Mills and Touré Mccord finds Paloma Ford at an intimate gathering. All attendees at the sultry function are wearing all-white fashion-forward looks, dancing together. Paloma Ford and her guy essentially sneak off for a private moment. Paloma Ford also dazzles in a crystal and pearl bralette and skirt combination, performing the track under blue lights.
“Rain” was my perfect way to introduce X Tapes because in order to tell a story of heartbreak you have to start at the beginning which is love. This project is more than just compilation of songs, it’s my story. Every song is personal — and hopefully it resonates with people who have experienced similar experiences. That’s what music is all about and X Tapes is a refreshing reminder of that.” says Paloma in a provided statement.
“Rain” is the first release of Paloma Ford’s upcoming EP X Tapes, due later on in 2020.
