Netflix has released the first trailer for Outer Banks. The new young adult drama stars Chase Stokes, Madison Bailey, Madelyn Cline and many others. Together, the cast tells the story of a group of teenagers who come up on millions of dollars as the main character, John B’s, father goes missing.

“Outer Banks is a coming of age story that follows a tight-knit group of local teens (aka the Pogues) in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. When a hurricane kills the power for the summer season, it sets off a chain of illicit events that force the friends to make life-altering decisions,” Netflix writes.
“The search for their ringleader’s missing father, forbidden romances, a high-stakes treasure hunt, and the escalating conflict between the Pogues and their rivals turn their summer into one filled with mystery and adventure they’ll never forget,” the streaming service continues.
Outer Banks is created by Shannon Burke, Josh Pate and Jonas Pate. The new series will debut on April 15, 2020. In the meantime, check out the first trailer above.
