Netflix has come under a lot of fire recently for the number of shows it has cancelled. Most notably, they have cut ties with Marvel and cancelled shows like Luke Cage, The Punisher and Jessica Jones. In addition, they have announced that Friends From College and American Vandal will not return for new seasons. With that being said, Netflix is moving forward with some of their biggest successes. Last year, On My Block was named as the streaming platform’s most binged series. This week, we got a few more answers about when it would return for another go around.

Not long ago, members of the On My Block cast confirmed they were done filming the show’s new season. However, we never got a sense on when it would be released. This week, Netflix took to Twitter to reassure the show’s fans that it’s on the way. Netflix tweeted, “So excited that I can finally announce Season 2 of On My Block will premiere this March! If you’re still sleeping on this truly amazing show, now is the time to catch up!”
March is not exactly a specific date, but it’s better than nothing. Keep your eyes peeled to see when the first official trailer for the new season is released. In the meantime, check Netflix to catch up before the new season drops next month.
