Omar Epps will take part in the Power spin-off series, Power Book III: Raising Kanan. As the series title highlights, the series will tell the story of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson’s character, Kanan Stark. Most notably, Stark is New York drug dealer who came to rise in the 90’s before going to jail and leaving the door open for James “Ghost” St. Patrick to take his place. It is still unclear what role Epps will play in the upcoming series.
Power Book II: Ghost will premiere this summer. The series will star many of Power‘s original characters such as Tariq St. Patrick, Tasha St. Patrick and Cooper Saxe. In addition, Method Man and Mary J. Blige have also joined the show’s cast.
Details regarding Power Book IV and Power Book V have not been revealed yet.
