Deion Sanders and his son, Shedeur, share a special bond both on and off of the field. Between the white lines, Sanders serves as the head coach of the Jackson State University Tigers while Sheder plays quarterback. When the game clock isn’t running, they’re a loving, yet competitive father-son duo. Recently, Oikos yogurt was able to capture their special relationship in a unique way.
Deion Sanders is no stranger to the NFL’s biggest day. While he may no longer be on the field, he is still a topic of discussion. Not long ago, Sanders and his son, Shedeur, developed an ad for the Oikos yogurt brand ahead of Super Bowl LVI. In the vibrant spot, both members of the Sanders family compete in hopes of proving that one is stronger than the other.
“There’s always been a very competitive nature between my sons and me,” Deion Sanders said about the ad, according to Boardroom.
“When Oikos came to us with this opportunity, I was excited to go head-to-head with my son because I now get to prove to everyone that Dad is still the stronger – and more handsome – Sanders.”
In the end, neither man in the Sanders’ household comes out on top. Instead, the family matriarch, Connie Knight, steps in and brings everyone down to size. Check out the complete ad below before Super Bowl LVI kicks off tonight.
