The New York Giants came into free agency with money to spend and they sure have spent it the first day of free agency.
The re-signed Jason Pierre-Paul to a one-year deal, locked up former Rams cornerback Janoris Jenkins to a long term deal, stole Damon Harrison from the Jets and now, they have signed former Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon to a huge contract.
When the Dolphins signed Mario Williams, they basically no other besides taking their tag off Vernon and with him free to roam, he went were the money called.
Vernon will sign with the Giants and his deal will be the most guaranteed money for a defensive end in NFL history.

For Olivier Vernon and the #Giants, I'm told it's the biggest defensive end deal in history with the most guaranteed money

Vernon and Jason Pierre-Paul on opposite ends of newly signed interior defensive lineman Damon Harrison and young defensive tackle Jay Bromley might set the Giants up for one of the best defensive lines in the NFL going into 2016.
