The New Orleans Saints have agreed to a deal that will send star tight end Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks. According to NFL media insider Ian Rapoport, the Saint will receive center Max Unger and a first round pick in exchange for Graham and a fourth round selection.
The trade comes just before the official start of the NFL free agency period. The trade is a surprise considering Graham has been the biggest target in the Saints offense since 2011. However, it is a huge upgrade for the Seahawks considering they have been looking for a game breaker in their receiving core. Graham finished last season with 85 receptions, for 889 yards, and 10 touchdowns.
