‘So what is wrong with your sex life?’
Netflix’s latest craze has been around their original TV series ‘Sex Education’, where a young man in High-school (apparently) is battling with his own sexual problems while his mother (of all people) is a sexual therapist. Luckily, this young man uses his experience and his mother intellect for some side money when he teams up with a high school bully to sell sexual therapy sessions in the bathroom stalls.
After reading that synopsis, you might be EXTREMELY confused about what is going on in this series, but trust me. It’s good television.
Netflix is now doubling-down on the TV series that features the likes of young stars like Gillian Anderson and Asa Butterfield in it’s all U.K cast. The streaming service announced that a 2nd season is in the works and will be coming soon.
Per THR:
“Laurie Nunn has captured the awkward teenage experience with a lot of heart and humor in Sex Education,” said Cindy Holland, vp originals at Netflix. “Along with the Eleven team and executive producer and director Ben Taylor, she’s created a universally relatable series that has resonated with our members around the world.”
There’s no release date just yet for the 2nd season, but they’ve already made the announcement via video:
