
Netflix has announced its inaugural “Netflix Is A Joke” comedy festival. The festival is set to take place April 27-May 2, 2020 in Los Angeles. For their first time out, the streaming service has brought out the big guns. This time around, Dave Chappelle, Marlon Wayans, Chris Rock, Jamie Foxx, Kevin Hart, Whoopi Goldberg and Martin Lawrence will appear at the festival.

“It’s our honor to transform L.A. for one week into the funniest place on earth. This festival is a unique celebration of the art of comedy, and the role it plays in reflecting our lives and defining culture,” Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos stated.
“It’s a chance for comedy lovers to come together and see their favorite artists as well as discover new ones, and for us to be able to share the electricity and excitement of the festival in Los Angeles with Netflix members around the world,” he added.
Tickets will go on sale tomorrow and will reportedly range between $15 and $500.
