Two years ago, Nav took another step forward in his young career with the release of Good Intentions. Serving as the follow-up to 2019’s Bad Habits, the 18-track featured a number of heavy hitters, including Future, Gunna, Young Thug, Travis Scott and the late Pop Smoke. The project shot to the top of the chart and earned Nav’s second Billboard 200 number one album. Shortly after its release, he returned with the deluxe edition, Brown Boy II, featuring Quavo and Lil’ Duke.
“I had goals written down of going No. 1. I had a vision board in my room with all the things I want. This year, I pretty much got all of them. I believe in [the] law of attraction a lot,” Nav said in the lead-up to the album’s release.
Two years later, Nav has the opportunity to enter into rare territory. With the release of his fourth studio album, Demons Protected By Angels, he is attempting to have his third consecutive chart-topping album. Similar to his previous release, Demons Protected By Angels features a number of stars. Bryson Tiller, Lil’ Uzi Vert, Lil’ Baby, Travis Scott, Gunna, Future, Lil’ Durk and many others are set to appear on the album.
With that said, Nav will have some tough competition for that number one spot. Ari Lennox and John Legend both release new albums this weekend. Will Demons Protected By Angels beat them out? Check out the album below and be the judge.
