Roy Williams and North Carolina are no strangers to success, and they are the reigning National Champions because of it. They do this, however, without the help of many high level recruits. Roy gets the job done through experience, maturity and the X’s and O’s in terms of execution.
In Chapel Hill success is earned through grit and by doing things by the book; not through raw talent. That being said, it doesn’t hurt to have said talent. And now North Carolina has some of that talent with the commitment of 2018 five-star recruit Nassir Little.

Nassir Little, a top-15 recruit from Jacksonville, Florida, is an athletic as-all-gets-out small forward. At 6’7″ with a with a muscled-toned 205 pound frame Little simply glistens with energy and confidence that make him one of the fiercest competitors in this class.
He has game to match that fiery attitude as well, with a knack for attacking the rim and the ability to knock down long range jumpers at a considerable rate for a guy as rawly athletic as he is. Best believe he does a whole lot of talking as well.
For North Carolina, Nassir Little is arguably the most exciting high school prospect Roy Williams has gotten since he landed Harrison Barnes back in 2010. The Tar Heels have always prided themselves in fundamentals and experience, now it will be interesting to see how a one-and-done style may affect UNC’s program a year from now; especially considering that another high level recruit in Simi Shittu is on Roy’s radar as well.
