
Nas has managed to come out swinging in 2019. The New York native has managed to release a number of videos off of his latest album. In addition, he was announced as one of the headlining acts for the 2019 Governors Ball. Not to mention, he’s picked up a hefty check from his investment in Pluto TV, which was recently acquired by Viacom for $340 million. Keeping in line with his string of power moves, Nas has taken to Instagram to announce his latest venture.
In an Instagram post, Nas announced that the upcoming documentary, Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men, will premiere this Spring on Showtime. The long awaited documentary will make a limited premiere later this month at the Sundance Film Festival. Nas wrote, “It’s been an intense 18 months producing this project and it’s almost time to share it with the world.” Nas added, “Later this month we will debut this film at Sundance Film Festival and are excited to announce more details about its Showtime premier in the coming weeks.”
While the documentary doesn’t have an official release date, Showtime did offer the first trailer for the documentary series. Check out the trailer above and prepare for the series later this year.
