Nas is back to remind the world that there is no age limit on releasing quality music. On Tuesday, September 12, the New York native surprised fans when he announced that his forthcoming project, Magic III, would arrive on Thursday, September. Like the previous two editions of the series, Magic III will be executive produced by none other than the hitmaking musician, Hit-Boy.
As Nas prepares to celebrate his 50th birthday, he is hitting his stride as an elder statesman in this thing we call Hip-Hop. The Grammy-Award winning MC has delivered three editions of the King’s Disease series and two prior chapters of the Magic story. Along the way, he won his first Grammy Award, appeared on a DJ Khaled album and performed in front of a sold-out crowd at Yankee Stadium. Not to mention, he’s delivered a Hip-Hop fan’s dream by working with the Wu-Tang Clan to go on tour. Simply put, Nas is adding to his legacy, not subtracting from it, as he moves further into a special stage of his legendary career.
Below, fans will find the artwork for his forthcoming project. In under 48 hours, they’ll find the full project on their favorite streaming services.
