Jake Paul and Logan Paul are from the first pair of siblings to become significant attractions in combat sports. Throughout the years, the Klitschkos, Russells, Charlos, Moloneys, the Diaz brothers and several other families have made noise in the world of boxing and mixed martial arts. But unlike those families, there may be a day in the future in which they fight each other professionally. During a recent interview with Ariel Helwani of the MMA Hour, Most Valuable Promotions Co-Founder Nakisa Bidarian said a fight between Jake and Logan Paul was offered to Netflix before Mike Tyson accepted an offer to fight Jake.
“We said to Netflix, we could get the two of them to agree to do it on July 20th on Netflix,” he told Helwani.
“I think Netflix saw it as a phenomenal, massive event, with not enough run-up to do it the right way.”
As it stands, Jake Paul is scheduled to fight Mike Perry on July 20 and Mike Tyson on November 15. Next year, it’s not out of the realm of possibility for the two to fight.
“This is an older brother, younger brother dynamic always, right? And I do believe you’ll see that fight at some point,” he continued.
“It’s 100% real… That feels like a massive, global event no matter what, because it’s two brothers putting it all on the line.”
