Muhammad Ali’s grandson, Nico Ali Walsh, returned to the ring for his second professional fight on Saturday evening in Atlanta, Georgia. This time around, he shared the rin with fellow undefeated fighter James Westley II. During the first round, Walsh took a few shots from Westley II, but he recovered in the second and third rounds. Walsh found success with his right hand in the later stages of the four-round bout. He landed a nice right hand to end the second round that put Westley II down for the first round. Westley II was able to get up and finish the round, but Walsh picked right up where he left off in round three and ended the fight by TKO.
Saturday night marked the continuation of his young career. Walsh performed well in his first fight against Jordan Weeks in Tulsa, Oklahoma and earned a first-round TKO. His second fight provided a few more rounds of work for the young fighter, but they also exposed a few weaknesses in his defensive game. Moving forward, Walsh will look to sure up those holes in his defense as he looks to fight against in either December or January.
