The NBA has announced that they have suspended Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges for 30 games after he pled no contest in his domestic violence case. 20 of those games are considered already served by the NBA, so he will have to serve a ten-game suspension to start next season if he is singed by the Honrets or another team. Bridges is currently a restricted free agent which means that any deal he signs with another team will give the Hornets a chance to match. While there is nothing for sure, the Hornets are expected to match any deal.

The last time Miles Bridges played basketball with the Charlotte Hornets was the 2021-22 NBA season. In that season he averaged 20.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. He paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 49.1 percent and a three-point percentage of 33.1 percent. The Hornets and Bridges are hoping to move beyond the domestic violence case in the 2023-24 NBA season. Considering that, the team also has other things that they need to focus on for next season including the 2023 NBA Draft Lottery. Bridges was selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft and has played his entire NBA career with the Charlotte Hornets.
