The Sheriff’s Department incident report included the following information following the arrest of Mikey Williams: “Five people got into a car and as they were driving away, shots were fired. The car was hit, but no one was hurt.” The Memphis Tigers recruit is currently ranked as the 26th overall recruit and the 6th combo guard in the 2023 recruiting class. Williams has long been a famous high school basketball player and has massive NIL deals despite having not played college basketball yet. It is too early to tell how this will impact his life or his future playing basketball. We here at Def Pen Sports will update the story when possible.
