Megan Thee Stallion is the focus of NBC’s latest ad for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. Using her unique sense of style and witty humor, the Houston native takes center stage as she brings the “Hot Girl” aesthetic to one of the world’s biggest sporting events. In doing so, she proposes a ceremony featuring winged, fire-breathing horses. There’s only one minor problem. It appears the suits in NBC Universal’s boardroom don’t entirely understand her vision.
“As America gathers together today on Thanksgiving, we wanted to surprise the nation with an Olympic moment as big as the holiday, and what better way to do that than with ‘Thee Olympics’, featuring Megan Thee Stallion and dressage horses at Versailles,” Jenny Storm of NBC told Variety.
“As we approach the new year, even more surprises are in store as we continue to bring to life the biggest media event of 2024 — the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
The Grammy Award winner may be a new face in regard to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games, but she’s used her brand and personality to star in Super Bowl commercials and run some drills with the Los Angeles Chargers for Cardi B’s series Cardi Tries.
