Houston’s own Megan Thee Stallion is here to deliver her debut studio album, Good News. The new project from the Houston native caps of what has been an incredible year. Despite catastrophic event earlier in the year, she has dominated the charts with records like “WAP” with Cardi B and “Savage” with Beyoncé. Now, she’s ready to end the year strong.
Megan The Stallion’s Good News puts together an all-star list of features. The new project features SZA, DaBaby, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Lil’ Durk, Young Thug and of course, Beyoncé. J. White and Scott Storch also headline a star-studded list of producers.
Megan Thee Stallion hopes that this project will not only boost her own career but also boost the confidence of Black women around her. From the cover to the title, Good News empower others to take control over their own narrative and tell their own stories.
“I want Black women to be louder. I want us to be sassier. I want us to demand more, be more outspoken, keep speaking and just keep demanding what you deserve,” she said in a recent interview.
“Don’t change – just get better. Grow from these situations. Don’t be beating yourself up about these situations, because that’d be a lot of problems too.”
