Megan Thee Stallion continues to break barriers and reach new heights. This month, she made history as the first Black woman to cover Forbes’ “30 Under 30” issue.
“I can’t slow down right now,” she told talented Forbes writer Jabari Young.
“I’ll take a break when I’m dead. I’m trying to really build something. When I start sitting, I feel like I’m not doing enough or I’m giving somebody else the opportunity to pass me.”
Megan Thee Stallion has reportedly done well for herself over the last year. According to the outlet’s calculations, the Houston native has used her various endeavors to generate $13 million in 2022.
This is the Houston rapper’s first appearance on the cover of Forbes’ “30 Under 30” issue, but it is not her first time landing in the magazine itself. She made her “30 Under 30” debut in 2019 following the success of her Tina Snow mixtape. Since then, she’s appeared on Saturday Night Live, won a Grammy with Beyoncé and toured the world. Adding on, she’s also locked in brand deals with Popeyes, Nike, Cash App, Cheetos and Revlon.
“I’m trying to really build something,” the Houston native said.
Beyond her entertainment endeavors, Megan Thee Stallion has continued to venture into the academic realm. She recently earned a degree in health administration from Texas Southern University.
“I know my parents are looking down on me so proud,” she said.
