
Marvel Studios has delayed the release of Nia DaCosta’s film, The Marvels. Instead of releasing the film on July 28, Brie Larson, Teyonah Paris and Iman Vellan-led film will arrive in theaters on November 10, 2023. On Friday, Larson and members of the cast shared a new poster for the film to announce the new release date.
Marvel Studios’ fifth phase is underway. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania arrived in theaters on the evening of February 16, 2023. Led by Paul Rudd and Kathryn Newton, the next chapter of the Ant-Man story takes a left turn as the Avengers dive deeper into the multiverse and come across Kang The Conqueror. Through its first weekend, the film is projected to bring in $225 million.
Following the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Marvel Studios will move its attention toward Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on May 5, 2023. From there, The Marvels will arrive in November 2022 and Captain America: New World Order will be released in May 2024. The cinematic portion of Marvel’s fifth phase will conclude with Thunderbolts and Blade in 2024.
