After his 15th season in the NBA, it was unknown whether or not veteran shooting guard Manu Ginobili would return for another season with the San Antonio Spurs. Ginobili, 39, will play another season, and is working on a deal with the Spurs, reports Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN:
Manu Ginobili and the Spurs are finalizing details of his imminent return for a 16th NBA season, league sources tell ESPN.

Ginobili hails from Argentina. He was a vital part of four championships with the Spurs, and made three All-Star Teams, and two All-NBA Teams (both Third Team selections). He also won Sixth Man of the Year in 2008.
For his career, Ginobili averaged 13.6 points, 3.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game while shooting 44.7 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point range. In his prime, he was known for his craftiness and passing wizardry, and will – at the very least – be considered for the Basketball Hall of Fame, which is impressive in itself.
Prior to his NBA career, Ginobili also put together an impressive overseas resume, winning MVP of the Italian League twice, and winning EuroLeague Finals MVP once.
