Ohio State safety Malik Hooker is expected to be a top 10 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. According to Bleacher Report’s Matt Miller, Hooker will undergo surgery to repair a torn labrum. The surgery will cause him to miss the upcoming NFL Scouting Combine.
Malik Hooker had surgery Tuesday on a torn labrum and a hernia that he played through late this season. He will miss the Combine.

Hooker, however, is expected to be a full-go for training camp for whatever team drafts him. In my opinion, Hooker is the best available safety in the draft so I can’t imagine his stock taking a drastic hit because of this injury.
In 2016 Hooker recorded 7 interceptions for Ohio State this past season. The 2017 NFL Scouting Combine takes place from February 28th to March 6th.
