In recent memory, there have been a number of joint albums that have hit streaming services. Drake and Futre delivered a joint album in 2015, Travis Scott worked with Quavo to release Huncho Jack in 2017 and Future teamed up with Lil’ Uzi Vert to drop Pluto x Baby Pluto in 2020. Not to mention, fans recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of Kanye West and Jay-Z’s Watch The Throne. With that said, the pairings that were previously mentioned were ones that fans expected. This Friday, a pairing that was fairly unexpected arrived.
After a year of killing features on every album from Drake’s Certified Lover Boy to Benny The Butcher’s Burden of Proof, Lil’ Wayne has decided to team up with Rich The Kid for a new joint album called Trust Fund Babies. Through 10 tracks, Lil’ Wayne and Rich The Kid trade verses over production from Tay Keith and Murda Beatz. There’s also a lone guest verse from YG. Check out the full project below.
