You only have one chance to make a first impression and Bronx native Lil’ Tjay is making his count. Just days before the release of his debut album, Destined 2 Win, the New York artist rolled out a trailer narrated by the great Mike Tyson. Alongside the trailer, he also released the first episode of his Youtube documentary series, Destined 2 Win.
“I named the album Destined 2 Win [because] I always felt like [there was] something in me [that] was meant to be great. Even when sh*t tried [to] stop m,e it never did and I kept getting up,” he wrote.
Having rolled out a trailer and documentary series, he has set the stage for his highly-anticipated album. The project comes along with features from 6LACK, Offset, Moneybagg Yo, Fivio Foreign, Saweetie, Tyga, Polo G and Toosii. Destined 2 Win is spearheaded by his lead single, “Calling My Phone” featuring 6LACK. It has already climbed to number two on the Global 200 chart. “Headshot” with Polo G and Fivio Foreign has also climbed into the top quarter of the Global 200 chart.
