Chicago’s Lil’ Rel Howery is set to host and executive produce the new NBC game show, Small Fortune. Set on a six-episode track, the game show will feature teams of three competing in small, real-world challenges for cash.
“I’m really excited to host this very fun and exciting game show,” Howery said.
“I’ve played the games and they’re not as easy as they look, which is why this show will be so fun to watch. You will want to try some of these creative games at home,” Howery added.
This news comes as Howery also announced that he would be starring alongside Jermaine Fowler in the upcoming comedy, The Come Up. Academy Award winner Matthew A. Cherry will direct the film.
Small Fortune is slated to begin production later this year, but could be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
