On Monday, August 26, GRAMMY Award winner Dominique “Lil’ Baby” Jones was reportedly arrested at approximately 5 a.m. in Las Vegas, Nevada and charged with carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.
“On his behalf we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas,” Jones’ attorneys, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, told NBC affiliate KSNV.
Findling and Chesnoff also explained that the award-winning recording artist possess a valid concealed carry permit in Georgia. The Nevada Public Department of Safety honors concealed weapons permits from more than two dozen states, including nearby Florida, South Carolina and Tennessee. However, it does not honor permits from states like Georgia and Alabama.
Jones appeared in court on Tuesday, August 27 and posted a cash bond. He did not enter a plea and his next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1.
