Songwriter and producer LaShawn Daniels reportedly passed away early September 4 at the age of 41.
Known to many as simply Big Shiz, Daniels talent can be credited to songs such as Michael Jackson’s You Rock My World, Brandy and Monica’s The Boy Is Mine and won a Grammy for Destiny’s Child’s Say My Name. Additionally, Daniels has worked with Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Tamar Braxton, Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson and more.
No official cause of death has been confirmed however WBLS Entertainment News acknowledges reports of a fatal car accident. Daniels leaves behind three children Tahshon, Omarr and Jett and his wife of 13-years April Daniels.
