When it was announced that newly acquired Cleveland Cavaliers forward Larry Nance Jr was entering the 2018 NBA Slam Dunk contest, many people started to wonder one big thing. How would Nance Jr incorporate his dad Larry Nance in the slam dunk contest?
The senior Nance won the first NBA slam dunk contest back in 1984 thanks to his iconic cradle dunk. Now, over 30 years later with Nance Jr in the contest, it comes as no surprise that he would bring the cradle back. But the younger Nance put a little clothing change twist to it.

Next up for Larry Nance Jr was a pretty simple but effective windmill slam which started from behind-the-backboard, under the rim.
As Nance advanced to the finals of the 2018 NBA Slam Dunk contest he brought his dad back out to help him with another dunk. This one was a little more simple and just involved the senior Nance tossing the ball up for a windmill.
To end his night, Larry Nance Jr broke out possibly the most subtle but some consider the best dunk of the night. He did a quick double tap dunk off the backboard.
