This will be the first All-Star selection for both players, Ball has shown improvement from his rookie season and is leading the Hornets to another appearance in the playoffs as they are currently 9th in the East. He is second in scoring, only behind Miles Bridges, with 19.6 points per game and leads the team in assists with 7.5.
As for Murray, he has emerged as the number one guy in the Spurs leading the team in points (19.6) and assists (9.2) per game. The team still hasn’t performed as expected as they sit in the 12th spot of the West but Murray’s producitivity and level of play gets him the selection.
The All-Star Game, Team Durant vs Team LeBron, will be played on Sunday, February 20 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
