After 4 full days of waiting, LaMarcus Aldridge will sign with the San Antonio Spurs. After meeting with the Lakers, Heat, Raptors, Blazersd and Mavericks, Aldridge has elected to join Gregg Popovich, Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! sports:
Aldridge was the biggest free agent of 2015, so the dominos will start falling in order for every other team and free agent. This was one of the fastest free agencies I’ve ever seen with almost all the big names signing before the 5 day mark of free agency. So now on to the big topic, the NBA Finals next year which will showcase the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. the San Antonio Spurs. I mean there’s really no question, that this team is going to be too good for it’s own good. As a basketball fan, you got to be eager to see how they play. Tim Duncan, Aldridge, Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, & Tony Parker. 4 future hall of famers, with one lethal 3-point shooter, and now the Golden State Warriors have serious competition coming there way. This will most likely be the Spurs last title run, and everyone knows what’s coming.
