NEVER. NEVER. Wish someone playing a sport to “Break a leg.” This common metaphor used to wish luck on performers did not work in the favor of the Los Angeles Lakers rookie Julius Randle. Just when you thought this would be a very ugly season for Lakers fans, the thought became reality and it got ugly. Per the report of TNT’s Rachel Nichols, Julius Randle suffered a broken right leg after being carried out on a stretcher.
More from Nichols on Twitter.
Lakers tell me Randle has a fractured tibia, they're transporting him to the hospital, where they'll determine if he needs surgery.

Here is how it his leg was supposedly was broken:
If this report is completely accurate, then this just adds injury to injury as they have recently lost Steve Nash for the season, Nick Young won’t be ready for a month, and they lost Kobe Bryant last year. It hasn’t been a pretty couple years for the Lakers, and just when you thought during the 2014 NBA draft after the 7th pick Julius Randle was selected there was a glimpse of hope, it was crushed. Hopefully, this doesn’t keep Randle out of the game too long, he sure is a talent, and we would hate for him to miss his entire rookie season.
More news to come.
