Netflix has reportedly secured the rights to the forthcoming comedy, The Fifth Wheel. Written by Paula Pell and Janine Brito, the comedy will feature Kim Kardashian playing the “fifth wheel” alongside a female ensemble cast. With that said, the film’s log line and additional cast members remain under wraps.
Kardashian has never led a Netflix film before, but she is not new to the worlds of television and film. Over the years, she’s appeared in a litany of reality series, including The Kardashians, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, The Apprentice and Dancing With The Stars among others. More recently, she played the role of Siobhan Corbyn in American Horror Story: Delicate. Not to mention, she’s also been credited as a producer on E!’s The Spin Crowd, Facebook Watch’s You Kiddin’ Me and a collection of reality series under the Kardashian brand.
At this time, there is no word as to when the Kim Kardashian-led film may arrive on the streaming platform.
