While many were in the gym working off the pounds they put on during Thanksigving, Khalid was in the studio working on some music you may want to play in the gym or while you’re running in the morning. His latest musical offering comes in the form of a new project called Scenic Drive.
“I’m so grateful to have worked with so many amazing/talented artists on this project! Also, I’m so excited for everyone to hear this and live with it,” Khalid told The Source about his new project over the November holiday weekend.
“I’m always nervous to release new music but can honestly say this is a project I’ll hold close to my heart forever. I wanna thank everyone from the producers to the features for bringing this to life!”
Khalid’s latest project is led by the single, “Present.” Produce by James Maddocks and LNKMusic, the pop-R&B blend is all about making the commitment to the people that mean the most to us.
“’Present’ is just the beginning and I love that it has a dual meaning. It feels good to be more ‘present’ after such a trying year in the pandemic and it’s also a “present” for my fans that have been with me every step of the way,” Khalid shared in a press release obtained by Def Pen.
