Kevin Seraphin is officially moving on from the Wizards to join the Knicks next season, but that doesn’t mean he won’t remember where he came from. The big man from France spent the first five seasons of his career with the Wizards, and will always be able to remember DC as his home that he can always come back to.
There was no way Seraphin was going to be able to leave everything behind without thanking all those surrounding the Wizards franchise. Like many other professional athletes now, he sent out a tweet to thank those who had been with him for the beginning of his career.
I would like to thank you, every Wizards’ fan, all my former teammates and all of those who helped me have five great years #kslife

Washington may have lost a great player off the bench, but both parties have to move on and focus on the future. The Wizards are now able to go small when they bring somebody off the bench, and Seraphin is able to take the next step in his career.
Everybody will miss Kevin, but they will for sure be very excited when he makes his return to Verizon Center as a member of the New York Knicks.
